Special Issues

Contributions presented at CMN2026 will have the opportunity to be published in the peer-reviewed journal Engineering with Computers, on a Special Issue called CMN 2026: Progress in Computational Mechanics.

Engineering with Computers is a journal that publishes research and authoritative state-of-the-art reviews on technologies supporting simulation-based engineering.

  • Focuses on the development of new computing methods, algorithms, and workflows.
  • Addresses significant computational challenges in engineering.
  • Emphasizes technologies that support a wide range of engineering applications.
  • Invites submissions of novel, cutting-edge research and algorithm-based software development.

Authors interested in publishing to the Special Issue will be invited to submit an extended version of their contribution.

The Special Issue will be open for submissions from July 1 to December 31, 2026. All participants with an accepted abstract will be eligible to submit a paper.

Submitted manuscripts will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process, and all editorial decisions will be subject to final approval by the Editor-in-Chief.

Papers should be submitted directly through the journal’s submission system. During the submission process, authors will have to select the option titled “CMN 2026: Progress in Computational Mechanics”.
