Myocardial infarction triggers, among other pathophysiological changes, progressive wall stiffening that fundamentally alters ventricular mechanics, particularly affecting diastolic function. This Finite Element Modelling study employs a simplified geometric model to evaluate how varying infarct sizes affect ventricular wall deformations under physiological filling pressures.
