This study assesses the accuracy of current design codes in predicting the capacity of rectangular Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular (CFST) columns under eccentric loading. A summary of code provisions and their applicability limits is provided, followed by the compilation of an experimental database of slender rectangular and square columns, including specimens beyond code limits for material strength, local buckling, and geometry. The analysis evaluates model accuracy and explores potential extensions of code applicability. Findings offer guidance for selecting the most reliable standards for specific CFST column configurations.
